(PARKER, Ariz.) No. 1 Gilbert Christian logged a 10-0 mercy-rule victory on Wednesday, defeating Parker High School to move to 10-0 on the year. Hauling in four goals against the Broncs, was junior Noah Cooper. 
 

The Knights' lightning fast forward has netted eight in three contests this week for GCHS. 
 

Parker was held scoreless by junior goalkeepers Hyatt Lang and Logan Liddy through 60 minutes. Liddy also contributed to the offensive effort, posting a goal in the affair. 
 

Five other Knights found the back of the net in the match-up, including senior Caleb Barnett, junior Brady Fredrickson, junior Nik Vranicic, sophomore Holden Lang, and sophomore Greysen Ward. 
 

With two assists apiece, Ward, Vranicic, and Barnett set the tone for unselfish play on the field.  Senior Brody Moore, junior Jackson Lundberg, junior Logan Thompson, and freshman Kai Lundberg also contributed, each dishing for a Knights' score in the win. 
 

GCHS has two matches remaining on the 2024-25 regular season docket. Both are on the road, and will be played against 3A Metro opponents. The first game versus a competitive Bourgade Catholic (9-1) squad, is scheduled for Friday, January 31st at 6:00pm.
