(GILBERT, AZ) Gilbert Christian notched its fourth win of the year on Thursday, defeating Crismon 8-0 in boys' soccer action. The Knights out-shot the Rattlers 27-3 in the contest, with half (51.9%) of the team's attempts coming on goal.

Junior keeper Logan Liddy and the Knights' defense picked up the shut-out victory against the 4A East Sky Region Rattlers. Liddy managed two saves in the effort.

Offensively, the Knights were led by junior Nik Vranicic, who scored a pair of goals, and dished three assists, for a whopping seven points on the day. Classmates Noah Cooper and Noah Collier also managed to find the back of the net against the Rattlers, adding two scores apiece to bolster Gilbert Christian's substantial total. 

The Knights' remaining goals came from senior Caleb Barnett and junior Brady Fredrickson. Junior Jackson Lundberg logged two assists for GCHS in the affair. 

Gilbert Christian is unbeaten on the season at 4-0 (3-0 3A Conference). Regional competition is slated to begin on January 15th at 7:00pm, when the Knights will host rival Valley Christian to open 3A Metro play. 
 

Trivium Prep is next on the docket for the Knights, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00pm on Monday, January 13th at home.
