(GILBERT, Ariz.) Forward Kaleb Powell made the most of senior night on Tuesday, scoring a pair of goals for No. 1 Gilbert Christian (9-0) as it handed No. 7 San Tan Foothills (6-1-1) its first loss of the year. 

The Knights won the contest 3-0. Junior Brody Moore also recorded a goal for GCHS in the match-up.

Freshman Kaden White, sophomore Will Polillo and Moore were responsible for the Knights' assists.

Gilbert Christian had plenty of looks at the goal in the affair, but several balls just missed, hitting off of the crossbar (more than once!) or were prevented by the effort of the Sabercats' talented keeper. 

The Knights have three regular season contests left on the schedule. First up is a home game against Veritas Prep, on Saturday, January 20th at 10:00am.
