(GILBERT, Ariz.) Gilbert Christian High School is excited to announce the hiring of Robby McConchie as the next Head Softball Coach of the Knights.

McConchie steps into the role after serving as an assistant coach within the Gilbert Christian softball program. His familiarity with the team's culture and student-athletes, combined with an extensive coaching background, positions him well to lead the next chapter of Knights' softball.

In addition to his work at GCHS, McConchie has built an impressive résumé in Arizona's highly competitive club softball landscape. He previously led one of the state's premier club organizations, Arizona Storm, and currently coaches on the national stage with Athletics Mercado, one of the country's most respected travel softball programs.

Coach McConchie is passionate about developing young women both on and off the field. His vision for the program emphasizes pursuing excellence with humility, grit, toughness, and selflessness while representing Christ in everything they do.

As the school year begins, Coach McConchie will share additional information regarding the upcoming season, offseason opportunities, and ways for players and families to connect with the coaching staff. Softball is played during the spring.
