The Knights' backline covered the entire floor through the four-set match, recording 60 digs in the victorious performance. Myers and sophomore Reed Mills combined for 18 pickups, with nine apiece, while junior Bryce Kincaid and senior Shane McKay each added eight, to account for the majority of the defensive action.

Mills and McKay also produced at the net, garnering 11 and 8 kills, respectively, on the night. Senior Luke Myers chipped in five of his own, leading the squad in hitting percentage at 55.6 percent (5-for-9) against the Eagles.

Facilitating the effective offense flow was Kincaid, who dished 31 assists from the setter slot for GCHS. Kincaid also managed four kills and an ace in the win.

Gilbert Christian is back on the court Wednesday against North Valley Christian for a 5:00pm showdown. The team will travel to St. John Paul II on April 4th, before returning home for a regional contest against Benjamin Franklin on April 10th (5:30pm).
