(PHOENIX) Senior Tyler Burr did a little of everything for Gilbert Christian on Friday, compiling 10 points, six rebounds, five steals, four deflections and a block as the Knights took down Northwest Christian 58-38 on the road in 3A Metro regional boys basketball play. 

Burr also took a charge in the affair, laying out to force a Crusaders' turnover. Senior Logan Lucero joined in on the action, taking a charge of his own during the contest, while managing a well-rounded 13 points, six rebounds, three assists and pair of steals.

With 18 points, seven boards and six dimes, senior Owen Fermoyle emerged as the games' highest offensive producer, though his five deflections and four steals certainly placed him near the top of the defensive leaderboard as well.

Northwest Christian was led by Will Riley, who notched 15 points in the loss.

Gilbert Christian remains unbeaten on the year, at 8-0. 

San Tan Foothills is the Knights' next challenger. The Sabercats, who boast a 6-2 overall record, are scheduled to play at GCHS on Wednesday, January 15th. Tip-off for the varsity contest is set for 7:00pm.
