Sophomores Luke Swingle and Bryce Kincaid led the way with five and four, respectively, while three other players managed two from behind the endline for the Knights.
Junior Cole Goforth was unstoppable at the net, boasting 10 kills to lead all players. Junior Luke Myers and sophomore Malachi Myers combined for nine more, and seniors Owen Gehr and Nate Dickinson smashed three apiece.
Defensively, Gilbert Christian got five digs from Colton McWilliams in two sets of work, and five pick-ups from Malachi Myers, who played in all three sets.
Sophomore Bryce Kincaid took the assist crown on the day, with 11 dishes, though junior Shane McKay wasn't far behind, notching eight of his own for the Knights.
The match against St. John Paul II was a more competitive affair, though the result was ultimately the same for GCHS.
Goforth played a well-rounded match, with a stat-line that included 11 kills, 4 aces, 4 block-assists and 4 digs. Also dominant was Gehr, who led the team's attack with 14 kills, and bolstered the serving game with three aces, while also stepping up defensively to tally seven digs for the Knights.

Dickinson and Kincaid split time at setter, serving as the catalysts for Gilbert Christian's successful attack, with 18 and 16 assists, respectively.
The Knights are scheduled to travel to El Cajon, CA for the West Coast Challenge on Friday and Saturday, before returning home for the final regular season match of the year against regional foe ALA-Ironwood on April 25th (5:30pm).
