"I was impressed by the freshman group today," Head Coach Hector Orellana said. "The underclassmen have been so focused and dialed in every time that they have had the opportunity to play. You can tell that they are getting comfortable with the ball, and moving it around well. They are showing maturity in keeping control and valuing every possession."
Senior Daniella Orellana found her open teammates in the affair, registering a pair of assists, while junior Ella Cariveau notched one of her own for the Knights.
Gilbert Christian took 28 shots in the contest. The stellar GCHS defense has not allowed a goal in 2023-24.
