Burr's two connections were quite the impressive duo- a three-run bomb in the first, and an rbi double in the fifth. Coyle, for his part, added a pair of doubles to his blossoming resume, while senior
Sam Webb logged the games' lone triple. Webb, who went 1-for-2 at the plate, walked twice and stole a base for Gilbert Christian against the Longhorns.
Freshman Camden Pallas collected the Knights' remaining knock, a two-rbi single in the sixth.
With the win, GCHS improves to 6-1 overall.
Top-ranked Valley Christian (4-0) is next on the docket for the Knights. Gilbert Christian will host the Trojans at Titan Solar Park on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 6:30pm.
