Nicolette Beeler joins the Knights as Gilbert Christian’s first Sports Information Coordinator. She previously held the position of Director of Sports Media and Promotions at Vanguard University (Costa Mesa, CA) and Sports Information Director at Eastern Nazarene University (Quincy, MA).
Beeler hails from Shoreline, WA, where she was a high school basketball standout at Shorewood. She earned a basketball scholarship to Azusa Pacific University, where she became a team captain and NAIA Academic All-American. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Media and Journalism, Beeler attended Idaho State University, where she received a master’s degree in Athletic Administration and Physical Education. While at ISU, Nicolette completed an internship in the Bengals’ NCAA Division I athletic department, where she fell in love with sports information.
“I am so excited to promote Gilbert Christian’s athletes,” said Beeler. “I am invested in the future of athletics at this school and cannot wait to get our program more exposure in the community. I feel so blessed to work at a Christian school and truly believe that athletics are a powerful ministry.”
The Sports Information Coordinator will manage the new athletics website, the social media sites, cover sporting events and be in charge of highlighting GCS teams, coaches and student athletes.
Nicolette is a GCS parent, and resides in Gilbert with her husband Torin and their three children, Holsten, Honor and Hayes.
