Coach Pasquariello grew up playing basketball, was a three year Varsity player at Olympia High School and went on to play briefly at Pacific Lutheran University. Coach P began coaching in 2007 after graduating from Washington State University, first as the JV Coach at Olympia and then as a Varsity assistant at Tumwater High School. In 2009 he moved to Arizona, after receiving his M.A. in Education, and resumed coaching again in 2013 as the JV coach and Varsity assistant at Westwood High School in Mesa for 6 years. Coach P joined the Gilbert Christian staff in 2019 as the History Department Head and JV basketball coach before becoming a Varsity assistant. Coach P’s is excited to build on the foundation of excellence already established and use basketball to help young men grow in their faith and maturity. Coach P’s wife is the elementary science teacher at the Agritopia campus. The Pasquariello family loves the GCS community and have their two oldest boys at the Agritopia campus and the youngest will be there in a few years.
