(GILBERT, Ariz.) Gilbert Christian volleyball celebrated its four seniors in style on Wednesday night, defeating ALA-Ironwood in straight sets (25-18, 25-12, 25-10) in the final game of the 2025 regular season.

Prior to the match, the Knights honored seniors Alexia Heyn, Sidney Loth, Lily Midthun and Gracie Ray for their contributions to the program. Gilbert Christian also recognized seniors from the cross country and swim teams during the ceremony.

Junior Lillie Duitsman powered the Knights' attack with a team-high 13 kills, while classmate Sienna Cathey was nearly unstoppable, converting on 75 percent of her attempts to post 12 kills of her own. Senior Alexia Heyn also hit double-digits in the front row, adding 11 kills and a trio of blocks as the Knights dominated the net against the Warriors.

Senior setter Sidney Loth directed the offense efficiently with a match-best 18 assists, and sophomore Kendall Moore dished 11 to round out a balanced play-making effort. Moore also managed five digs for the Knights.

Loth recently surpassed the 1,000-assist career mark- a milestone that highlights her leadership and consistency throughout her three seasons on varsity. She currently sits at 1,294 career assists, compiling 694 in 2025 alone, with the state tournament still to come.
