(GILBERT, Ariz.) Gilbert Christian volleyball bolstered its record (4-1) with sweeps against ALA-Ironwood (25-17, 25-14, 25-7) and Seton Catholic (25-15, 25-17, 25-15) to finish a busy week at 3-0. The Knights got production from all-around, logging 78 kills, 84 digs and 14 aces through the two matches.

"We showed out this week, and all three of our teams picked up big wins," Head Coach Andrew Rasmussen said. "The Seton Catholic match, in particular, was a total team effort. They were solid, and we got it done on the road in straight sets."

Junior Alexia Heyn posted 10 kills of her own at Seton Catholic, hitting with incredible accuracy (.533) for the Knights. She also managed seven at home against ALA-Ironwood.
