(QUEEN CREEK, Ariz.) Volleyball pulled off a five-set (25-9, 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-13) victory on the road at ALA-Ironwood on Wednesday, improving its record to 4-2 overall. The Knights' offensive attack was spearheaded by freshman Lillie Duitsman, who posted 19 kills in the affair.

Senior Rio Taylor put forth an all-around impressive effort, recording a team-best 16 digs, 24 assists and 7 aces, while the Knight's libero, sophomore Sophie Dickinson, also hit double-digits in digs, with 11.

"Kaila's presence at the net was key for us tonight," Head Coach Alyssa Misuraca said. "She did a great job protecting the net and not letting much through."

Gilbert Christian is back in action on Friday at Benjamin Franklin. The freshman/sophomore team is scheduled for 3pm, followed by the junior varsity match at 4pm, and the varsity squad will end the evening's festivities with a 5pm contest.
